Construction background

According to the planning of the large IT system, an operator group is strengthening the construction of centralized IT support capabilities across the entire network. AsiaInfo undertook the construction of the group's first centralized pilot project. After the project is completed, it has firstly carried the business support system of western province A, and will carry more business support systems for more provinces by the multi-tenant approach.

Construction plan

In this project, the CRM system is a multi-tenant version of the new architecture developed by AsiaInfo, guided by the group company's "thick PaaS, thin application" architecture principle. It uses the multi-tenant model for planning and construction, builds the large PaaS platform including the capability center and public components, and sets up the support system oriented to "open service", "extreme experience", "agile architecture", "intelligent operations", "uniform management and control". The new system adopts technical centralization, standardization, business multi-tenancy and customization to achieve centralized sharing of the logical layer and multi-tenant division of the physical layer, centralized management and control of the management state, and multi-tenant isolation of operation state.

Application effect

On March 1, 2018, the personnel began to enter the site. It took 5 months on July 5, 2018 as scheduled to complete the upgrade of the BOSS system for the provincial node A; On August 5, 2018, it completed CRM system version upgrade; On September 5, 2018, it completed the monthly account work of the first billing period in September. As of September 5, this new system has successfully carried the shock period of the first month; The system is operating stably, and various performance indicators have reached the expected construction target, and entered a relatively stable production track. The successful launch of the project has been highly recognized by customers. This project pertains to the model projects of the centralized operation in the operator group. In the future, common functions from multiple provinces will gradually be precipitated. Through the overall planning and phased construction, the centralized business support system of multi-tenant model will eventually be realized. With a strong business and technical capabilities, AsiaInfo helps the operator group to build a centralized “model room”.
