A provincial operator's enterprise level micro-service platform

Customer requirement

A provincial operator wants the front-end application of CRM can be quickly expanded when encounters an instantaneous traffic burst; it wants to carry out micro-service transformation to support rapid business construction and stable service operation; it wants to open up the BO two domains technology capabilities and promote the implementation of its company level "Big IT Platform" strategy.

Construction plan

Based on AISWare AIF, AsiaInfo Technologies helps the operator to build enterprise level micro-service platform, and migrate the operator's CRM front-end application to the DCOS platform based on containerization technology to achieve "CRM cloudification." According to the concept of micro-service architecture, the system architecture is vertically decoupled and the business logic is inside horizontally decoupled to provide standardized platform technology capability sharing for various systems, application services, and background job processes, including unified service governance, unified cache management, log call chain control tracking, unified data management and control, etc. At the same time, the micro-service platform coordinates with the DevOps platform, providing hot code release capabilities, and integrates the DCOS cloud management capability, achieving unified management of service and background job process configuration and background job process scheduling, and expanding DCOS's ability to dynamically expand and shrink background processes.

Application effect

  • Rapid and flexible capacity expansion

The platform supports billion level PV per day, as well as second level capacity expansion and shrink, so it can rapidly expand to 1000+ containers in one minute, and the CPU utilization has increased from 10% of the resource pool to 40-50%, which could support the impact of explosive business growth during the “Double 11 , Double 12”sales season.

  • Platformization of technical capabilities

It builds an independent technology platform with AIF as the core, enabling business developers to focus on business logic, quickly build new applications or quickly migrate existing applications, and realize the sharing and opening of technical and application capabilities through the platform.

  • BO two domains support

With the good demonstration role in the B domain, the micro-service platform was successfully promoted into the O domain in 2018. In 2019, we use the platform as a foothold to extend to the surrounding areas, gradually promote the technology integration and process run-through, and form an efficient and agile full process control system. The AIF-based micro-service platform has been gradually evolving into the enterprise level and becoming the technology benchmark for the PaaS platforms within the operator group.
