On November 26, Shanghai Big Data Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Shanghai Big Data) and AsiaInfo Technologies Limited (abbreviated as AsiaInfo Technologies) forged a strategic partnership in Shanghai to upgrade big data services at the municipal and district levels and expand digital intelligence services. Yao Zhen (Vice President of Shanghai Big Data) and Ouyang Ye (Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo Technologies) witnessed the signing ceremony.

As a state-controlled mixed-ownership enterprise established with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Shanghai Big Data is a provider of public big data management and value exploration solutions, dedicated to becoming a main force in digital government construction and a leading enterprise in the field of big data application. According to the agreement, both parties will leverage their complementary advantages to promote collaborative development, and deepen cooperation in areas including "business collaboration between municipal and district-level big data centers and government commissions/offices in Shanghai, intelligent hardware innovation and channel resource integration" to advance industry transformation and support the high-quality development of Shanghai.
In terms of the "Collaboration between Municipal and District-level Big Data Centers and Government Commissions/Offices in Shanghai", both parties will leverage big data, AI products and digital operation services to advance comprehensive cooperation across strategic planning, solution design, project implementation and operation/maintenance, centering on the operational goals of the municipal and district-level big data centers and the digital needs of various government commissions/offices. Additionally, focusing on scenarios such as government affairs data integration and the optimization of public wellbeing services, both parties will provide full lifecycle digital solutions to assist Shanghai in digital transformation and intelligent development.
In terms of the "Data Synthesis All-in-One Machine Product R&D", both parties will integrate resources in hardware design and software algorithms, establish a dedicated R&D team, and jointly advance the development and innovation of the data synthesis all-in-one machine. Additionally, both parties will also collaborate to explore markets in industrial manufacturing, healthcare, finance, government affairs and other sectors, thereby achieving mutual benefits.
In terms of the "Channel Collaboration", both parties will establish a resource sharing and integration mechanism to jointly advance market promotion, customer development and business implementation, enhance channel operation efficiency and create innovative collaborative value.
Yao Zhen stated that under the guidance of Shanghai Data Bureau and Shanghai Big Data Center, both parties have already carried out cooperation in areas such as public data governance, digital government affairs and public wellbeing services, and achieved certain results. The deepening of collaboration serves to strengthen the business competitiveness of both parties, further empowering urban management and public service.
Ouyang Ye stated that Shanghai serves as a benchmark city for China's digital intelligence transformation, having achieved remarkable accomplishments in digital industrialization, industrial digitalization, and the integration of digital and real economies. In the future, AsiaInfo Technologies will work closely with Shanghai Big Data under the guidance of municipal and district governments to assisting Shanghai in building itself into an international digital capital with more global influence.
