Recently, AsiaInfo Technologies (China) Co., Ltd. ("AsiaInfo Technologies") and Shanghai Lingang Special Area International Data Port Co., Ltd. ("International Data Port") affiliated to Shanghai Municipal Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission have entered into a strategic partnership. Both parties will co-establish the "International Data Authenticity Verification Technology Joint Laboratory", empowering Shanghai to accelerate the construction of "International Data Port"! Wang Qinglin (Vice President of AsiaInfo Technologies) and Li Jing (Communist Party Branch Secretary and General Manager of International Data Port) jointly inaugurated the laboratory.

Building the "International Data Port" is a significant mission assigned to Shanghai Lingang Special Area by the Party and the state. Based on this purpose, the joint laboratory will leverage the integrated innovation of data across various industries worldwide, uncover the deep value of international data, provide enterprises with precision market insight, efficient decision support and secure cross-border data flow services, empowering domestic enterprises to expand overseas market and elevate their international competitiveness.
Li Jing stated that International Data Port is dedicated to providing globalized data storage, processing, transfer, security, application and other services, thereby advancing the development of international data industry and the construction of "International Data Port" in Lingang Special Area. Under the "1+5+N" overall planning for the International Data Port, Shanghai Lingang Special Area has preliminarily established internationally aligned advanced data infrastructure, five functional platforms supporting the entire innovation practice of Data Port, and multiple innovation scenarios focusing on international data circulation and cooperation. Establishing a data system compatible with international rules will facilitate the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises, while also providing support for China's advanced technologies and products to access global market.
