On September 20th, during the Alibaba APSARA CONFERENCE in Hangzhou, AsiaInfo and Alibaba Cloud jointly hosted the specific forum titled “Zero Threshold, Great Future – Making Big Model Applications Accessible to All.” During the forum, AsiaInfo became the first unit of Alibaba Cloud's “Government and Enterprise Industry Foundation Model Innovation Center,” marking China's first alliance dedicated to big model application services was established.

He believes that as the big model competition enters its “second half,” the key to commercializing and implementing these models lies in rooting down, fully understanding industries' requirements, and serving vertical industries. AsiaInfo focuses on “platforms, models, and tools” to build a “big model + cognitive enhancement tools” product and service system that empowers industry clients. With partners like Alibaba Cloud, AsiaInfo and Alibaba Cloud learn from each other and aim to enable vertical industry clients to leverage big models with “zero thresholds”.

Li Li shared his idea that the cooperation between Alibaba Cloud and AsiaInfo exemplifies the complementary strengths of enterprises in the era of big models. The organic combination of their foundational model capabilities, big model implementation capabilities, and computility offer a superior choice for hundreds of industries carrying out transformation. Liu Feng noted that digital intelligence technologies are inevitably reshaping vertical industries, and the China National Coal Association, as a representative industry organization, is collaborating with leading enterprises like AsiaInfo to carry out extensive technological innovations and business practices, jointly fostering new productivity in the coal industry.

In recent years, AsiaInfo and Alibaba Cloud have continually deepened their cooperation, jointly conducting product research and development and successfully delivering dozens of significant projects. At this forum, AsiaInfo was awarded the title of Alibaba Cloud's first “Government and Enterprise Industry Foundation Model Innovation Center”, signifying a more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between the two parties in market expansion, project delivery, and other sectors.

To focus on the commercial implementation and efficient application of big models, AsiaInfo and Alibaba Cloud, along with industry associations, consulting organizations, and computility providers, jointly launched China's first “Big Model Application Service Alliance” at the forum. Representatives from alliance members, such as AsiaInfo, Alibaba Cloud, China National Coal Association, Risun Group, Deloitte China, and Lenovo-AR, attended the launching ceremony.

Fu Wei, Vice President of AsiaInfo, expressed that the company is willing to work with Alliance members, leveraging AsiaInfo's “Big Model Operation Platform” and the Alliance's foundational models, consulting and planning, computility resources, technical tools, and other elements to address the challenges of big model implementation, such as “scenario adaptation, value judgement, solution planning, path design, effect evaluation, and organizational transformation.” By comprehensively considering clients' needs and application scenarios, they aim to provide one-stop services to industry clients, facilitating efficient big model implementation and rapid digital intelligence transformation.
