“Helps Hua Long Lift off and Realizes the Leading Position for China's Three Generations of Nuclear Power Technology Self R&D!”

Joining hands with China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and China Mobile Communications Fujian Co., Ltd. Zhangzhou Branch, AsiaInfo reached cooperation with ZNPC on the 5G wireless communication network system of units and related service projects.

Recently, the project started to be implemented, and ZNPC will become the first nuclear power plant in China to deploy a 5G independent private network during the capital construction.

As the first “HPR (Hua Long Pressurized Reactor)” batch construction project in China, ZNPC bears the great mission of “HPR” batch demonstration project construction and subsequent Hua Long series development and construction and also undertakes the critical task of transforming a batch of the latest sci&tech achievements and promoting the first application of innovative technological achievements in engineering construction.

AsiaInfo will build a 5G production private network with high security, professionalism, and integration for Units 1 and 2 of ZNPC Project Phase I. Such production private network will take the 5G private network products developed by AsiaInfo as its core and comprehensively use leading technologies such as IoT, big data, and AI to provide Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Station with a network architecture of the full sunk core network and independent networking with independent intellectual property rights, realize the functions of mobile communication, wireless data transmission, and personnel positioning, and fully guarantee the industrial upgrading and sustainable development of the nuclear industry.

With the leading 5G industry core network, 5G industry customized base station, 5G business support system, and other products, as well as excellent integration and operation and maintenance capabilities, the independent 5G private network wireless coverage scheme provided by AsiaInfo for the whole nuclear island has landed in nuclear power plants such as Changjiang of Hainan, Fuqing of Fujian, Qinshan of Zhejiang, and Tianwan of Jiangsu, and won recognition from industry customers.
