AsiaInfo and Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University won the first prize of 2022 CCF Science and Technology Progress Award

Recently, the “2022 CCF Award Ceremony” hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), an authoritative organization in the field of computer science in China, was held in Beijing, and the joint achievement of “Global Intelligent O&M Platform and Industrial Application” of AsiaInfo Technology and Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University (AIR), with its creative innovation of intelligent O&M technology and contribution to promoting the industrialization of intelligent O&M in China, stood out from many participating units and won the first prize of “2022 CCF Science and Technology Progress Award”. Professor Mei Hong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chairman of the CCF, and Professor Liao Xiangke, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chairman of the CCF award committee, presented awards to the first prize winners.

Founded in 1962, China Computer Federation is a national first-class federation. The “CCF Science and Technology Achievement Award” (including the “First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award”) is awarded to important discoveries, inventions, and original innovations in the field of computer science, technology or engineering as well as outstanding scientific and technological achievements with international influence in the relevant fields. The award-winning “Global Intelligent O&M Platform and Industrial Application” project is based on the technical exploration and application practice of AISWare AIOps, which is AsiaInfo’s global intelligent O&M platform product.


AsiaInfo AISWare AIOps focuses on the difficulties and challenges faced by intelligent O&M, proposes a multi-modal intelligent O&M method based on federated learning, combining global data mining, O&M data and physical perception, designs intelligent O&M learning tools for platform decoupling, componentization, and service, and builds an intelligent O&M platform covering four scenarios of “quality, cost, efficiency, and security”.


AISWare AIOps is the first product in China to pass the “excellent level” evaluation of AIOps capability maturity of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and has been listed in the annual list of Gartner Hype Cycle technology maturity curve for three consecutive years, and the platform technology has reached the leading level domestically and advanced level globally. The product and solution have been commercialized on a large scale in 26 provincial-level offices of the three major communication operators, helping customers reduce the recovery time of core system fault services to the minute-level level, greatly improving O&M efficiency, saving O&M resources, reducing O&M costs, and promoting intelligent O&M of communication operators to take the lead in the actual production stage, making the communication industry one of the most significant areas in China’s intelligent O&M application effect. The product also provides efficient O&M services for dozens of scenarios in energy, finance and other industries.

The “5G Intelligence Joint Laboratory” established by AsiaInfo Technology and the Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University (AIR) is committed to building a national communication artificial intelligence research and innovation institution, leading the establishment of 5G+AI international technical standards, and producing international and domestic leading academic and innovation achievements. The laboratory has reached the leading level of technology in the fields of 5G network intelligence, edge intelligence, reinforcement learning, federated learning, and AIOps, and this award-winning project is one of the important achievements of the joint laboratory.
