At this summit, Zhu Duozhi, the General Manager of 5G intelligent product line of R&D Center of AsiaInfo, said that in the past few years, AsiaInfo has worked with the partners of the Association in multiple areas such as technical discussions, specification preparation and end-to-end slicing management system construction, and has simultaneously promoted the implementation of 5G slicing commercial solutions in many vertical industries such as energy and transportation. “We will quickly integrate into the family of the Association, continue to innovate 5G slicing business models and management methods, play a role in the vertical industry digital transformation, and create greater value for society.”

Based on a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry for more than 20 years and extensive and profound insights into business scenarios in vertical industries, AsiaInfo launched the AISWare 5G-Slicing Mgmt, a product of “end-to-end management platform for 5G slicing”. Taking automation as the main line and spanning various professional domains, the product makes full use of NFV and SDN technologies to simplify the slicing process. At the same time, it relies on AsiaInfo’s communication AI platform to make the management and decision-making, operation and maintenance analysis, and service guarantee of slicing intelligent, which greatly reduces labor costs. The product can effectively promote the telecom operator’s network towards automation and integration, and boost the application of network slicing technology in vertical industries.

AISWare 5G-Slicing Mgmt has the following advantages:

1. Rich industry experience

AsiaInfo has been working in the BSS field for many years, accumulating rich experience in CRM, acceptance, and opening to provide an important capability foundation for the slicing operation platform CSMF. At the same time, the expert consulting team provides intellectual support for in-depth industry insights and business scenario analysis.

2. Industry-leading technology level

As the slicing technology system of entire industry is not yet mature, AsiaInfo’s slicing operation management product is one step ahead to work with telecom operators to accelerate the construction of the industry ecosystem.

3. Rich experience in cross-domain cooperation

As a neutral manufacturer, AsiaInfo deeply participates in the discussion and implementation of each sub-domain’s slicing technology, and has extensive experience in cross-domain and cross-vendor cooperation.

4. AI adds intelligence to improve efficiency

Relying on the mature communication AI platform of AsiaInfo, it provides intellectual support for management and decision-making, operation and maintenance analysis, and service guarantee of slicing to reduce labor burden.

5. User experience insight

The product can track the real experience of customers in vertical industries based on the signaling, business, and KPI data of slicing-related network elements and users, and rely on AI algorithms to resolve problems before complaints.

At present, AISWare 5G-Slicing Mgmt, the “end-to-end management platform for 5G slicing”, has been applied in the three major telecom operators’ groups and district-level and provincial-level points, as well as transportation, energy and other vertical industries. Two commercial projects of implementation of first-level CSMF and connection with first-level NSMF have been carried out in one certain telecommunications operator group, forming the business acceptance, business design and network management and other operational management capabilities of a number of 5G slicing pilot projects in leading industries. At the same time, a provincial company of one certain telecommunications operator is conducting a pilot project of an end-to-end integrated slicing platform commissioned by the group. This year, it will realize the pilot commercial launch of slicing services in vertical industries to contribute the new infrastructure and industry digital transformation in the country.
